Star Bottle is pleased to announce its participation in the Art for Climate event, the international project launched in Dubai during COP28, which took place in Sardinia from 26-28 July. This prestigious event brought together organisations, artists and environmental sustainability advocates from around the world to raise awareness of the need to protect our planet through art.

In keeping with the spirit of this event, Star Bottle has partnered with Art for Climate for an unprecedented initiative: during the highly anticipated Stars Night on 10 August, we will broadcast the song of sperm whales into space. These magnificent marine mammals, known for their ability to communicate hundreds of kilometres away, will become ambassadors for life on Earth.

Sending the sound of sperm whales into the Milky Way will not only be a tribute to marine biodiversity, but also a powerful message of connection and hope. Just as sperm whales are able to make their voices heard across immense distances in the ocean, we will send their song into space, thousands of light years away, celebrating the beauty and fragility of our planet.

During the three days of “Art for Climate” in Porto Cervo, guests had the opportunity to explore innovative art installations and participate in workshops dedicated to sustainability. The event provided an important opportunity to reflect on how art can become a powerful tool for awareness and change.

The broadcast of the sound of sperm whales during Stars Night will mark a historic moment, uniting art, science and technology to inspire a more sustainable future.
