Radio free to report on the slopes of the world's most iconic challenge
Milan, 2 December 2024 - Giornale Radio, the radio station free to inform, will be the official sponsor of the Orobica Raid team at the next edition of the Dakar Rally., which will start on 3 January 2025 from Bisha, Saudi Arabia. An extraordinary adventure that combines Giornale Radio's spirit of information and passion for challenges with the experience and determination of one of Italy's most historic off-road teams.
Orobica Raid will tackle the rally with a 1,100 horsepower Iveco Powerstar truck, supplied by’Italtrans Racing Team, a highly prestigious team and winner of the 2024 Dakar Rally. At the wheel will be Giulio Verzelletti, a veteran driver with 19 Dakar appearances, accompanied by Antonio Cabini (navigator and co-driver) and his son Carlo Cabini.
