Great success for the third launch of the project combining emotion, technology and deep space. And it's not over yet: there will be a new launch in December
Milan, 11 August 2025 - On the magical evening of yesterday, 10 August, on the occasion of the traditional Night of Stars, the third launch of the project was successfully completed Star Bottle, initiative to send messages, images and videos to deep space.
This edition, particularly eagerly awaited after the double date in 2024, took the earthly thoughts to three new and evocative destinations: Titan, Saturn's icy moon full of mysteries and potential scientific revelations; Vega, a brilliant star and symbol of universal connection; and the very heart of our galaxy, the Milky Way.
The launch, carried out via the M3SAT/Telespazio and authorised by Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT), involved thousands of participants from all over the world. Each message, after being transmitted using advanced technology, was officially certified with a digital document certifying that it had been sent.
“This edition consolidated Star Bottle's role as a cultural, technological and emotional project, capable of creating a new form of communication between the human being and the Universe - comment Domenico Zambarelli, founder and CEO of Star Bottle -The numbers speak for themselves: compared to last year, we have seen a significant increase in the number of participants, with a variety of messages testifying to the universal need to leave a trace, to tell one's story, to connect through space.
The choice of destinations aroused great interest. Titan fascinated with its proximity to the theme of habitability, Vega evoked literary and science fiction suggestions, while the Milky Way was the symbolic setting for each message: a poetic journey to the centre of our cosmic existence.
But Star Bottle does not stop there. The initiative is ready to relaunch: a new space launch is already planned for December 2025, with even more surprising news. Details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
