Dear Friends of Star Bottle,
We would like to thank you sincerely for participating in our project and for deciding to send your messages into space. Your support was instrumental in making this exceptional initiative possible.
We are excited to announce that on 10 August, during the “Stars Night” event, in addition to your personal messages translated into binary code, greetings were also sent into the Milky Way by two great Italian artists: Eugenio Finardi and Alan Sorrenti, in homage to their famous songs “Extraterrestre” and “Figli delle stelle”, bringing a message of music and harmony among the stars.
But that's not all! Also on 10 August, we broadcast the song of sperm whales into deep space, a tribute to nature but also a powerful message of connection and hope. This extraordinary marine sound symbolises the importance of preserving our planet and the beauty of life in all its forms.
During “Stars Night”, we also sent to the Milky Way the secret recipe for Grana Padano, the best-loved and best-selling PDO cheese on the planet. This unique initiative, realised in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Grana Padano PDO Cheese, not only celebrates the art of Italian cheese-making, but also underlines the importance of sharing and connecting peoples and cultures, even beyond the borders of our planet.
We would like to remind you that each participant will receive a “Launch Accomplished” certificate which will contain not only the date and time of sending, but also the direction of the message. A tangible memento of this historic moment that you can keep forever.
We are convinced that this unique event represents a significant step towards a future where communication and global cooperation know no limits. Thanks to you, our messages of peace, hope and unity will reach the stars.
Together, we are creating a connection that goes beyond earthly boundaries, uniting our voices in a universal chorus.
With gratitude,
The Star Bottle team
